Each piece is a handmade pochoir (po-shwah) print, printed with acrylic paint.

Pochoir printing is a process of hand making stencils and then layering the

stencils to create the images. Jude draws each composition by hand first and

then creates each stencil based on the drawings. A stencil is made for each

color. Each unique color is hand mixed and then applied by hand using a brayer.

 

Most of the wood panel surfaces are constructed by the artist too!
